Sensory Smart Strategies for the Classroom and Home LIMITED
Limited Capacity seats available

Sensory Processing Dysfunction has long been misunderstood. This presentation will identify characteristics that indicate difficulty with sensory integration is a possibility when considering causation for a child’s meltdown. Professionals and assessments that can assist with determining sensory dysfunction will be reviewed, along with strategies for hands-on learning. Leave the session knowing you don’t have to be an Occupational Therapist to manage a child's day in a calm state -- you just have to utilize simple, research-based OT strategies to get desired results. Be ready to learn, because this session requires active participation.
